Please note that when your graveyard is in the 150-200 quality range, Yorrick (the ghost from the tutorial) will enter rage mode and wreck some of your decorations once during night time. As you can see, there is a LOT of room for further improvement: no need to optimize anything. You can reach around 1250 quality in total in the graveyard, and this is the last quest related to graveyard quality. You'll need 20 happiness points with him and he will give/sell you the papers required to use the entire graveyard. Simply read the sign left of the church, and talk to the Inquisitor. You could do that only in the eastern part of the graveyard but it is easier to unlock the western part of it. It's really not complicated and you shouldn't try to hurry this quest.
#Graveyard keeper strategy guide upgrade
Confessional II is a nice and cheap upgrade as well.Ĩ- Upgrade graveyard quality to 200. I built 6 soft church benches (get silk from the merchant), 2 confessionals and 6 candelabras II. 40 quality gave me an 80% chance of success, which was enough in my books. Indeed, I chose to run the gold quality Faith sermon (my favorite by far) which requires 50 quality itself. I chose the latter option, having 40 base quality and adding a few candles. This requires either a lot of high-quality candles, better decorations or a mix of both. If you have between 20 and 23 silver I suggest you wait an extra week, sell stuff or perform sermon before turning this quest (as you'll gain more than 3 silver by next week hopefully).ħ- Upgrade the church to 50. You need 3 extra silver for gaining the right to perform sermons again by purchasing rightful citizenship from the same mailbox. If you haven't been to the lighthouse yet, it's as South East as possible on the map, East from the village.Ħ- Purchase a building permit from the mailbox next to the church for 20 silver. You could fish and then cook bronze fishes, but the easiest way is to purchase them from the lighthouse keeper (on any day, I'm not talking about the astrologer). Don't bring silver of gold quality, only bronze. Remember that they burn for only 1 day so do that on Bishop day.ĥ- Give him 4 bronze star quality fillet. You can buy some candles from the Bishop and use them to reach temporarily 20 quality and turn in the quest. At this point in the game, you should focus on adding 6 benches, and as many candelabras II as you can. I recommend cheap stone decorations for now.Ĥ- Improve the church to 20. Keep burying corpses and add some decorations. Collect water in the well just outside of your house, and there is a clay deposit South from the graveyard.ģ- Upgrade the graveyard to 30. Potter's wheel: 1 Clay + 1 Water = 3 bowls. When you accept this quest the Bishop gives you the technology required to craft them. From then on, he will deliver corpses only if you give him carrots.Ģ- Craft 20 bowls. Make sure to have carrots at the ready, or at least some carrot seeds before turning the quest in, as the donkey will go on a strike. Please read the walkthrough pages if you need help. This can be done by removing bushes, fixing existing decorations and adding more.

THE BISHOPġ- Upgrade the graveyard quality to 5. The Astrologer comes to the lighthouse during sunrise on Sloth day (icon: crescent moon on blue background). The Inquisitor comes on Wrath day (icon: male on dark brown background) at the Witch Hill (there is a blocked path leading North towards the Witch hill on your way between your house and the wheat farm). Snake visits the underground next to the cellar, and then in front of the dungeon entrance during the night between Gluttony and Envy days (icon: a circle with horns on green background). The Merchant comes to the tradepost right under the village tavern every Gluttony day (icon: ? on brown background). Charm comes on Lust day at the Dead Horse tavern in the village (icon: woman symbol, red color). He arrives with sunrise and stays a bit after sunset.

The Bishop comes to the Church on the Pride day (icon: circle with dots around, brown color). This is a reminder of all 6 quest-related NPCs:
